Sustainable Urban Freight & Cycle Logistics Expert at Coop Carbone
Sam is the Strategic Advisor in Sustainable Logistics for the non-profit cooperative Coop Carbone, where he leads their expansion into Western Canada and consults on multiple sustainable freight projects in work across Canada. Sam brings over a decade of experience in logistics, supply chain, and final mile delivery, including work for FedEx, Newgistics, Flash Global, and US Pack Logistics. He has worked in both management and individual contributor roles from operations, solutions, compliance, customer service, and IT.
A graduate of the Master of Engineering Leadership program in Urban Systems at the University of British Columbia, Sam is passionate about sustainable cities and new mobility solutions and systems. Sam holds additional degrees, in both Electrical, and Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. With a personal passion for cycling, commuting, bikepacking, and touring, Sam’s work experiences and interests have led him to pivot his career towards advancing sustainable urban freight and cycle logistics systems.
