Ze Lobo is a life-long bicycle user and cargo bike enthusiast, researcher and promoter, who has been active in the promotion of urban bicycle use for over 20 years. Ze is the winner of a Cycling Visionary award at Velo-City Vienna 2013 for cargo bike related research. He works in partnership with the Rio de Janeiro city Planning Office, ECF, Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety and FedEx in a project to promote the use of cargo bikes by the municipal departments, public servants and citizens. He is also engaged in projects that promote the use of cargo bikes, linking stakeholders and gathering data and facts, in partnership with civil society, companies and governments to achieve better cities for all.
