Cycling conference to discuss shaping the future of mobility in the Netherlands

On October 3rd, the Jaarbeurs Supernova in Utrecht will host a one-day summit focused on the growing role of cycling in future mobility strategies. Targeted at policymakers, HR managers, fleet managers, and facility managers, the summit – which kicks off Dutch Cycling Week (of which the International Cargo Bike Festival – 25-26 Oct is also part) – will explore how cycling can be integrated into corporate and public mobility plans.

Key themes will include the transition from car-based commuting to cycling, opportunities around bicycle leasing, and the health and soceital benefits of incorporating cycling into daily life. Attendees can also engage with experts in the Transit Zone, where specialists will provide practical guidance on developing successful cycling infrastructures.

Notable speakers include Belle de Gast, the Bicycle Mayor of Utrecht and Fietsprofessor’ Marco Te Brömmelstroet from The Lab of Thought, as well as consultants, cycling entrepreneurs, cycling organisations, and government representatives. Utrecht Bike Community will also unveil their new Fietsersmuseum (Museum of Cyclists) at the summit. The event will conclude with a networking session, offering the chance to connect.

The summit is free for the intended target group, with a fee of €195 for other interested parties.
