The International Cargo Bike Festival is back; and better than ever

ICBF teams up with academic Lindsay Broadwell

We’re delighted to announce that the International Cargo Bike Festival is partnering with JobRad. For the next few months you’ll find their logo proudly displayed on the right-hand side of our homepage.

JobRad is a trailblazer on the German bike leasing market. Their scheme has allowed over a million private and public sector employees from over 60,000 organisations, as well as self-employed people, to access simple, quick and uncomplicated bike leasing. Think of the company car – but for bikes.

JobRad at ICBF2023

Just two days after JobRad won the 16th German Sustainability award 2024, André Sommer and Felix Ginter joined us as speakers at the International Cargo Bike Festival, telling the audience about how JobRad achieved the scale it has so far, and about their innovative ProLastenrad scheme. The goal of the scheme, they told us, was to bring cargo bikes into society on a large scale. They do this in a number of different ways, including by providing their retail partners – bike and cargo bike dealers – with extra incentives for each cargo bike sold.
