Back to our roots…
The International Cargo Bike Festival is where the cargo bike community comes together. For 2020, the festival is heading back to Nijmegen. Organiser Jos Sluijsmans, who held the first ICBF in Nijmegen in 2012, said: “We’re are planning the best edition of the International Cargo Bike Festival yet, with many of the elements from previous years that you know and love, plus some new innovations.”

Venue Change

After a number of years in which the festival took place down the road at Honigcomplex in Nijmegen, followed by the iconic Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, and finally at Suikerfabriekterren in Groningen, the ICBF is truly heading home.

De Vasim, where the festival was held between 2012 and 2015, is a former silk factory turned alternative workshop space. It is situated 2km from the centre of Nijmegen – a pleasant 7 min cargo bike ride. There’s also plenty of outside space for test rides, plentiful protection from rain on offer and a firm asphalt surface underfoot.

Price Freeze & Early Bird
We’re proud to be one of the most affordable Expos out there for the cargo bike sector, providing the most bang for your buck. That’s why we’ve frozen prices for Expo space at ICBF 2020, meaning prices have not risen since ICBF 2019.
