World of eMobility and ICBF announce first exhibitors and speakers

The Start of a New Beginning

On October 27, 2022, the doors will open of the 2nd edition of World of eMobility (WOE), which this year also includes the International Cargo Bike Festival (ICBF). After a successful launch in November 2021, the WOE and ICBF teams are busy preparing for the event, which will welcome diverse brands from different industries. Alongside the cargo bikes and e-bike industries, electric cars, vans, charging stations, motorcycles, scooters, light electric vehicles, and other providers of eMobility products will feature.

In short: WOE is the meeting place for startups, scale-ups, commercial brands, governments and companies from different branches that are active in the eMobility industry. It is the platform for innovative companies and investors in the field of sustainable mobility.

 

ICBF Conference

In order to answer the many questions and discuss possible solutions regarding the use of eBikes, cargo bikes and Light Electric Vehicles, Jos Sluijsmans, WOE ambassador and founder of the ICBF, is organising the annual ICBF Conference at WOE. The ICBF Conference will be opened by a video message of our Minister Vivianne Heijnen. Throughout the day on Thursday 27th October, various international speakers will present on a variety of topics. Each lecture or seminar can be attended by about 300 people. Presenters among others, Jill Warren (European Cyclists’ Federation), Sandra Rothbard (Freight Matters) Ross Goorden (Fietsersbond), Lucas Harms (Dutch Cycling Embassy), Sam Starr (Coop Carbone), Darnel Harris (Our Greenway), Franklin Jones (B-line PDX), Karin van den Berg (LastMile eMobility), Philippe Lovens (Urbike), Ze Lobo (Transport Ativo), Natalia Tomiyama (Nüwiel) and Aigars Lauzis (Be-Triton), Henk Swarttouw (ECF). Additionally there will be parallel sessions in several break-out rooms by Eyal Santo (OMU), Osamede Obayuwana (TFS Cycles), Jintae Kim (Gyenongsangbuk-do green logistics project), New Motion Labs, Masterclasses by the Dutch Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management Subsidies, on Logistics in the Carfree neighbourhood Merwede in Utrecht, on Zero Emissions Zones, E-Charging, Big Scale and Small Scale Sharing Systems, and on The Netherlands, #1 Cycling Country in collaboration with of the Dutch Cycling Embassy and the European Cyclists’ Federation. .
